Plus4Travel is a home for people who decided that “someday” is today. It’s a digital space built for remote workers, creators and entrepreneurs who want more than two weeks of vacation a year – they want a life that doesn’t fit inside an office or a single postcode.
At Plus4Travel, the focus is on real digital nomad life: the wins, the mistakes, the visa runs, the late‑night client calls from another time zone and the quiet mornings working from a café in a new city. You’ll find destination guides written specifically for remote workers, honest breakdowns of costs, Wi‑Fi and neighborhoods, as well as practical advice on everything from finding coliving spaces to choosing the right insurance and eSIM.
But this isn’t just a resource hub – it’s also about mindset. Plus4Travel explores what it means to design a location‑independent life that still feels grounded, sustainable and fulfilling. Through stories, interviews and field‑tested guides, the blog highlights people who are building businesses on the road, balancing work with travel, and redefining what “success” and “home” look like when the world is your office.
Whether you’re planning your very first workation or you’ve been living from your backpack for years, Plus4Travel is here to help you upgrade your nomad life: better places to stay, smarter ways to work, and richer experiences once you close the laptop for the day.
Who makes this possible
We’re Paul Cummings and Jordan Carter, a couple of thirty‑somethings from the US who swapped “normal life” for a backpack, two laptops and a one‑way ticket a few years ago. We were both born in Portland, Oregon, but these days “home” is wherever there’s good Wi‑Fi, great coffee and a comfy chair to open the laptop.
We’ve been slowly building our online businesses while moving from place to place, figuring out in real time how to keep clients happy, stay productive on the road, and still feel genuinely excited every time our passports get a new stamp. Along the way we’ve made a ton of mistakes, found some amazing spots to live and work, and learned what actually makes this lifestyle sustainable (and what looks good on Instagram but sucks in real life).
Plus4Travel is our way of sharing all of that with you. We write the guides, stories and checklists we wish we’d had at the beginning – friendly, honest and tested on the road – so that your path to a location‑independent life feels a little less confusing and a lot more fun.
